Smooch is a Special Move that is taught to Mario in Paper Mario.
After Misstar is freed from the Lava Piranha, she upgrades Mario's star gauge to five and allows him to use the power Smooch. When used in battle, Misstar gives Mario a sweet kiss that heals 20 HP. The move is similar to Eldstar's Refresh move, except, his move heals only 5 HP and 5 FP and cures posion. Its kind of an expensive move to use as it uses 3 SP, but makes it come in handy when no health items are around.
